Greene County Historical Society receives $4,000 grant

The Greene County Historical Society recently received a $4,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.

State Rep. Pam Snyder, D-Jefferson, said the money comes from a program designed to support museums and official county historical societies not supported by other state funding programs.

Statewide, the agency granted almost $2 million to 142 eligible museums and official county historical societies from 55 counties.
