CANONSBURG

Wallet stolen: Rebecca Richards of Castle Shannon told Canonsburg police Monday her wallet was grabbed out of the hands of her 3-year-old son while she was at Rite Aid, 601 W. Pike St. She said the wallet contained her identification and $68.

CHARTIERS

Warrant arrest: Traiya Carr, 19, of 605 Highland Ave., Canonsburg, was arraigned Monday on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and corruption of minors filed by Chartiers police after she and a teenage girl allegedly stole a vehicle belonging to the girl’s grandmother from the woman’s Chartiers home April 13. The vehicle was found the following day in Washington. Carr was taken into custody by Canonsburg police during a traffic stop on Adams Avenue and taken to Washington County jail on a probation warrant. Carr was arraigned on the charges before District Judge Jesse Pettit, who set bond at $35,000.

Driver injured: Graham Malone, 18, of Canonsburg, was injured Saturday night when his vehicle went off the 600 block of Arden Road and hit a tree, Chartiers police said. He had to be freed from the wreckage by township firefighters. Malone was taken to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment.

FALLOWFIELD

No injuries reported: State police said no injuries were reported Saturday night in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near the Centerville exit, Fallowfield. The drivers were identified as Chandamohan Paleti, 47, of Dublin, Ohio; Matthew Weinzen, 50, of Coal Center; and John Beeson, 61, of Uniontown. Paleti was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.

WASHINGTON

Juvenile arrest: State police picked up a runaway 16-year-old girl on Shannon Avenue Friday. Troopers said the girl, who was the subject of an active arrest warrant, initially provided a false name. Police said she was taken to juvenile detention, and an allegation she gave false identification to police was filed against her in juvenile court Monday.

Warrant arrest: Stephen Reynier II, 35, of Bradford Woods, was taken into custody Monday on a Butler County bench warrant issued in December on a charge of receiving stolen property. Reynier was driving a vehicle stopped by Washington police in the 100 block of Jefferson Avenue. He was placed in Washington County jail.

Change stolen: Charles Morgan of Duncan Avenue told Washington police early Tuesday change was stolen from his vehicle.

Account accessed: Betty Gordon of Canton Township told Washington police Monday her debit card was used to withdraw $596 from her credit union account. She did not realize the card was missing, police said.

Windows broken: Richard Stephens of Allison Avenue told Washington police Monday two windows were broken in his garage.

Television stolen: Ernest Gary of Lincoln Street told Washington police Monday his 55-inch smart television was stolen from his home.
