CUMBERLAND

Drug charges: Nathan Andrew Roberts, 30, of 141 Hillman St., Greensboro, was charged by Cumberland Township police with two counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at the Sheetz on Route 21 in the township early Thanksgiving morning. Police said they noticed Roberts sleeping in a vehicle at the gas pump. When they asked him questions, he did not respond, police said. Police found him to be in possession of two syringes, xanax pills, 11 empty stamp bags, suspected methamphetamine, two snorting devices, and an empty prescription bottle. Police said Roberts had a bench warrant out of District Judge David Balint’s office. Roberts was also charged with driving under suspension and public drunkenness.
