False reports: Ariel Leah Howell, 28, of 130 Alicia Main St., Greensboro, and Charles James McCabe, 28, of 443 Third St., Donora, were each charged with false reports. Howell reported to state police her vehicle was stolen from her home Sept. 22, police said. When later questioned, McCabe, who is the father of Howell’s step daughter, admitted Howell had permitted him to use the vehicle, which he wrecked Sept. 22 in Monessen. McCabe had fled the scene of the crash, telling police he didn’t want to get in trouble, police said.
