WAYNESBURG
Two charged: Two Waynesburg men were charged with disorderly conduct Thursday following an incident at 2:15 p.m. that resulted in a lockdown at Margaret Bell Miller Middle School in the borough. Charged were Jorwin A. Reyes, 20, and Ronnell D. Lindsay, 20, both of 204 Elm St. Waynesburg police said Reyes was riding a bicycle on Elm Street and allegedly swore at students who were outside the school on a photography assignment. Reyes rode to 204 Elm St., about a block and half away. One student reported seeing Reyes and another man on the front porch and said he believed one of the men was waiving around a handgun, police said. Reyes and Lindsay had just returned to the house when police arrived there and were taken into custody without incident. Police searched the men, their vehicle and the house but found no firearms. Both were charged, but Lindsay was placed in the Greene County jail on a warrant out of Pittsburgh for terroristic threats, police said.
