New C-M director named
Canon-McMillan School Board members named a new colleague last week to fill a vacant director seat.
Meeting minutes show board members voted 5-0 to appoint Bernard Price during a special meeting Oct. 11. Price replaces E. Scott McClain for the balance of the term, which is up in December 2019. McClain resigned Sept. 20.
Voting in favor of Price’s appointment were Mike Caporizzo, Maureen Helinski, Mark Dopudja, Darla Bowman-Monaco and Pete Moniodes. Price was sworn in during the same session.
