CANONSBURG

Mischief, harassment alleged: Gregory Fox, 53, of 244 Cecil-Henderson Road, Canonsburg, was charged Thursday by Canonsburg police with criminal mischief and harassment. He is accused of dumping paint last weekend on a porch of a home at 521 Franklin Ave. and calling the resident more than 30 times. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Drug charges: Joshua David Bails, 25, of 230 Lyons St., Houston, was charged Thursday by Canonsburg police with possession of paraphernalia and crack after he allegedly was found with the items March 17 while in a parking lot at 617 W. Pike St. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

MT. PLEASANT

Twice charged: Shayla Chandler, 35, of 136 Center Ave., Burgettstown, was charged twice by Mt. Pleasant police stemming from traffic stops two days apart earlier this month in the 100 block of Main Street in Hickory. Chandler is charged with false identification to police and driving with a suspended license for the stops Oct. 7 and 9. She also is charged with driving without a license and not having insurance in the Oct. 9 stop.

Resisting charge: Daniel Jacob Dailey, 27, of 106 Bell Ave., Burgettstown, was charged this week by Mt. Pleasant police with resisting arrest and driving under suspension stemming from an Oct. 7 traffic stop on Main Street in Hickory.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Theft charge: Demetric James Medlen, 18, of 253 Roosevelt St., North Franklin, was charged Friday by Trinity Area School District police with theft. He is accused of stealing another student’s prescription glasses from a restroom Oct. 17. When the student went to retrieve the glasses, he told police he saw Medlen wearing them. When confronted, Medlen allegedly admitted to finding the glasses but did not remember what he did with them. The glasses were valued at almost $300. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

NORTH STRABANE

Two injured: Deborah L. Mackulin and her passenger, Natalie Rose Mackulin, 18, both of Jefferson Hills, were injured in a two-vehicle crash about 6:20 p.m. Monday on McClelland Road near Williams Drive, North Strabane police said. Both had to be freed from the wreckage by North Strabane firefighters. They were taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment. Police said Deborah Mackulin was driving north on McClelland when she apparently crossed into the opposite lane, hitting a vehicle driven by Jennifer Simmons, 42, of 226 Village Drive, Canonsburg. Simmons told police she tried to go off the road to the right to avoid the oncoming vehicle.

PETERS

Assault alleged: Hunter McMahon, 23, of 450 N. Main St., Washington, was charged this week by Peters police with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment after he allegedly head-butted another man in the face during an Oct. 12 confrontation at a construction site at 614 E. McMurray Road. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jesse Pettit.

SOMERSET

Drug charges: Denver Louis Findley, 18, of 149 DiCio St., Canonsburg, was charged this week by state police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and disorderly conduct stemming from an Oct. 11 incident in the 1700 block of Route 136, Somerset. Police said he was found with suspected LSD. The will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.

WASHINGTON

Threats arrest: David M. Horsey, 45, of 455 Third St., Washington, was arrested Friday morning by Washington police on charges of terroristic threats and disorderly conduct after he allegedly threatened to shoot two utility workers in the head when they came to his home. He also reportedly refused to open his door for the workers, or for police. Police had neighbors stay in their homes until they were able to open the door and take Horsey into custody. He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

WEST BROWNSVILLE

Brothers charged: Jason Anthony Chiera, 35, and Troy Chiera, 32, both of 309 National Ave., Brownsville, were charged by West Brownsville police with retail theft and conspiracy after the two allegedly stole a mattress, sheets and pillows from Walmart in West Brownsville on Sept. 23. Jason Chiera has been banned from all Walmarts since April 2016. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
