CHARTIERS

Gun stolen: Joshua Eaton of Canonsburg told Chartiers police Thursday his 9 mm handgun was stolen from his vehicle while he was at work on Country Club Road.

Wallet stolen: Earl Saffel of 783 Regent St. told Chartiers police Thursday his wallet was stolen from his home.

CLAYSVILLE

Megan’s Law violation alleged: Tyler John Bedillion, 28, of 138 Main St., Claysville, was charged this week by Donegal police with violating Megan’s Law for allegedly failing to register his address when he moved to Claysville. He was convicted of indecent assault and sexual assault in West Virginia. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

EAST BETHLEHEM

Three face drug charges: Arron J. Pitchford, 19, and Johnathan Christopher, 19, both of Carmichaels, and Brandon W. Smotzer, 19, of Greensboro, will be charged by state police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia after they allegedly were found with suspected Ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms during a traffic stop Wednesday in the 500 block of Front Street, East Bethlehem. The charges will be filed at the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

HANOVER

Arrest at concert: Eric Tyler Laurine, 37, of Brilliant, Ohio, was arrested Thursday by Hanover police after he allegedly was found with a controlled substance, marijuana and paraphernalia in the parking lot of KeyBank Pavilion. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of having a misbranded controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

PETERS

Contractor charged: David Zgorseliniski, 50, of 411 Cardinal Ave., Canonsburg, was charged last week by Peters police with deceptive business practices after he allegedly took a check from a township couple who wanted him to build a shed outside their home on Candlelite Drive in May, but never built the shed or reimbursed them for the downpayment. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jesse Pettit.

Theft, receiving charges: Dustin Lee Stoner, 24, of 244 Gregg St., Monongahela, was charged Tuesday with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole $514.96 from an envelope in the office while working at Einstein Bros. Bagels, 3855 Washington Road, in August. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jesse Pettit.

Mother charged: Jacqueline Eonta, 83, of 146 Roscommon Place, McMurray, was charged Tuesday by Peters police with simple assault and harassment after she allegedly assaulted her daughter during a confrontation at their home Aug. 14. She allegedly hit her daughter on the head with a teapot, police said. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jesse Pettit.

SOUTH STRABANE

Card used: A woman told South Strabane police Thursday her credit card was used without her permission to make a $427.40 purchase at Sam’s Club, Trinity Point. An attempt to use it at Walmart, Trinity Point, was declined.

WASHINGTON

Man assaulted: George Gatcell, 40, of Washington, told Washington police Thursday night he was assaulted as he sat with a woman on the steps of an apartment building in the 400 block of East Maiden Street. Gatcell said the attacker also threatened the pair before fleeing. Police said charges of aggravated assault, harassment, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats will be filed against the alleged attacker.

Mischief arrest: Donald Raymond Tupi, 55, who Washington police said is homeless, was arrested Thursday morning on a felony charge of criminal mischief. He is accused of using his cane and construction barricades to break 14 storefront windows in the 10 block of North Main and West Chestnut streets. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

DUI alleged in crash: Thomas Davis Jr., 24, of 50 Grove Ave., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with DUI and traffic violations after a hit-and-run crash about 8:25 p.m. Thursday on Jefferson Avenue at Woodland Avenue. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost 2 1/2 times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed.

Cellphone stolen: Dean Anderson of Third Street told Washington police Thursday his daughter’s iPhone was stolen Tuesday while she was at a home on Hallam Avenue.

Registrations stolen: An employee of Budd Baer, 71 Murtland Ave., told Washington police Thursday a bag containing 400 vehicle registrations was stolen. The package had been delivered by United Parcel Service.
