CANONSBURG

Card information stolen: Kimblery Clair-Digman of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police Thursday that her credit card number was used to pay for a room at an Erie hotel without her permission.

CANTON

Insurance fraud alleged: Shane Kendal Valentine, 40, of 230 Bench Ave., Canton, was arraigned Monday before District Judge David Mark on charges of insurance fraud and attempted theft by deception by a special agent with the state office of the attorney general. Valentine allegedly secured a vehicle insurance police with Progressive Insurance on Dec. 21. On Jan. 29, he reportedly filed a claim that his vehicle had been damaged in a hit-and-run crash near West Alexander, but investigators said it was determined the vehicle actually had been damaged in a crash in Ohio on Dec. 9. Valentine was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

CHARTIERS

Truck stolen: Mark Fiore of 16 Remington Drive told Chartiers police Sunday that his gray, 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck was stolen from outside his home.

Tools stolen: Larry Spangler of 37 Gretna Road told Charters police Wednesday that tools were stolen from his porch earlier this month.

Vandalism reported: Debbie Rubis of 620 Regent St. told Chartiers police Sunday that profanities were spray-painted on her driveway.

NORTH FRANKLIN

DUI alleged in crash: Joshua Wayne Herrin, 28, of Sumrall, Miss., will be charged by North Franklin police with driving under the influence of alcohol after allegedly crashing the pickup truck he was driving into a utility pole in the 1300 block of West Chestnut Street on Sept. 11. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost double the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed.

SOUTH STRABANE

Warrant arrest: Robyn Harrison, 29, of McKeesport, was taken into custody Monday by South Strabane police on an Allegheny County warrant at Greenbriar, 800 Manor Drive. She is charged by McKeesport police with endangering the welfare of children, criminal mischief and public drunkenness stemming from an April 11 incident. She was placed in Washington County Jail on the warrant.

Purse stolen: Martha Barnett of Bellaire, Ohio, told South Strabane police Monday that her purse containing more than $400 and a credit card was stolen from a vehicle that was parked near Harbor Freight at the Washington Mall Sunday.

WASHINGTON

Wedding dress stolen: An employee of Alison Bridal & The Tux Shop, 358 E. Maiden St., told Washington police that a wedding dress valued at $1,433.12 and a $271 deposit were stolen from the business between the beginning of the year and Monday.

Car stolen: Sequoia Blackwell of Clairton told Washington police Monday that a black 2016 Ford Fusion that had belonged to her late father, who resided in Washington, and was now in her name was stolen. The license is JBF-5676.

Motorcycle stolen: Harold Gatts of 715 Allison Ave. told Washington police Tuesday that his red 1999 Suzuki Katana motorcycle was stolen from outside his home.

Drug charges: Frank Cooper III, 25, of Pittsburgh, was charged by state police with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance after he allegedly sold 0.53 grams of crack cocaine to a confidential informant in February 2017, on Meadow Avenue in the city.
