GILMORE
Tool theft: State police are investigating the theft of tools, ATV tires and rims, chainsaws, a lawnmower and outdoor furniture and equipment from a shed on Tustin Run Road. The theft is believed to have occurred between July and Sept. 9.
JEFFERSON
Criminal mischief charge: Brandon Michael Brumley, 25, of 2656 Smith Creek Road, Waynesburg, is accused of breaking a car window at 111 Fairview Ave. Sept. 5. State police filed a criminal mischief charge Tuesday.
WAYNESBURG
Drug possession charges: Tracy Lynn Tennant, 44, of 206 S. Washington St., Waynesburg, was charged with possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver in connection with an incident Jan. 10, 2017. State police, with the assistance of a confidential informant, said they purchased $130 worth of prescription Xanax pills and ecstasy from Tennant at her apartment.
WHITELEY
Single-vehicle crash: No one was injured when a vehicle hit a tree Saturday evening. Brandon M. Lindsay, 28, of Morgantown, W.Va., was driving south on Interstate 79 just past mile marker 10 when he drove into the median, returned to the roadway and hit an embankment. Lindsay drove up the embankment, hit a tree and descended, coming to a stop on the highway’s edge. He was charged with careless driving.
