CUMBERLAND
Disorderly conduct charges: Benjamin A. Kiger, 43, of 3400 E. Franklin St., Waynesburg, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct after an incident at 171 East Roy Furman Highway in which Cumberland Township police said they found Kiger on the front porch yelling at Loretta Rutan about 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Rutan said when she asked Kiger to leave, he began to kick the door down and she called police because he was said to have knives.
JEFFERSON
Car stolen: State police are investigating a vehicle theft on Moredock Drive in Jefferson Township Sept. 15. Four suspects, two men and two women, walked up to an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway. The keys were taken from the center console and the suspects drove the car through the yard, around the home and then north on Moredock Drive.
Terroristic threats: Stanley Joseph Demaske, 33, of 436 Fourth St., Mather, was charged Thursday with making terroristic threats after state police said he threatened to kill two Greene County Children and Youth Services workers Aug. 14 while they were making a check at 1447 Main St. in Jefferson Borough.

Aggravated assault charge: Jeremy Todd Leadbitter, 31, of 133 Arabella St., McDonald, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment from an incident at the Wheeling Creek mobile home park Saturday around 11:30 p.m., state police said. Leadbitter and an unnamed victim began arguing at the victim’s home about a recent pregnancy. When the victim mentioned an abortion, Leadbitter started to push and shove the victim, pushing her against a wall and by her throat, according to court documents. Police said Leadbitter grabbed a knife and the victim tried to run to a bedroom. Leadbitter tackled her and cut her left thigh, police said. Leadbitter then left the home.

Motorcycle crash: A motorcyclist was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., after a crash Friday. State police said Barry D. Grecoe, 67, of Graysville, was driving north on Route 19 near the Pitcock Run Road intersection in Whiteley Township when he lost control on a curve and crossed the double yellow line before driving off the roadway before crashing down a small embankment into a field. He suffered minor injuries and was not wearing a helmet, police said.
