FRANKLIN
Counterfeit money: The Waynesburg Youth Football League reported to state police someone used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase raffle tickets at a youth game Sept. 2 at 30 Zimmerman Drive in Franklin Township.
Theft charge: Lisa Ann Michels, 42, of 175 March Ave., Nemacolin, was charged Thursday with theft after state police said she stole a oxycodone tablet in early February from Guardian Elder Care at 300 Center Ave. in Franklin Township, where she worked as a licensed practical nurse.
Forgery charges: Charles Edward Ulrich, 32, of 1705 Morris St., Waynesburg, was charged Thursday with counts each of theft, forgery and bad checks after state police said he wrote eight fraudulent checks to himself totaling $1,400 between April 4 and 10.
MONONGAHELA
Reckless driver: Belmont Franklin Forsythe, 22, of 66 Diaz Ave., Nemacolin, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, careless driving and reckless driving Thursday from a March 30, 2017, incident in which state police said he “made several hard-braking actions” on another driver while on Route 21 in Monongahela Township and then blocked the other motorist from passing him. Police said Forsythe then abruptly stopped, causing the other vehicle to strike the rear of his vehicle. The other drive then went around him, but Forsythe caught up to him at Route 88 and the incident ended when his vehicle was rendered inoperable just south of Mapletown Road. Forsythe tried to walk away from police and pulled his arm away as the trooper attempted to arrest him. Two additional officers had to assist in handcuffing him. Lab testing revealed Forsythe had cocaine and hydrocodone in his system at the time.

Clothing stolen: A woman reported to state police Sept. 12 someone stole several articles of clothing and kitchenware from her home in the 300 block of Hull Run Road in Morgan Township.
PERRY
DUI drug charges: Randy Lee Yoder, 28, of Maidsville, W.Va., was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after state police said they found him passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle Dec. 7 on Meadow Ridge Road in Perry Township. A blood test showed several drugs in Yoder’s system, police said.
