Washington police are looking for a missing teen from McKeesport.

Jacob Wiley, 16, allegedly ran away from home two weeks ago and has not been heard from since, according to his mother, Cynthia Price.

Police said he was last known to be in the West End of the city.

Price said this is the 10th time Wiley has run away from home, but he’s never been gone this long.

“He hadn’t tried it in almost a year,” she said Friday. “This is the longest he’s ever been gone with no contact, no nothing.”

Wiley left home Sept. 15 or 16, after reportedly searching addresses in the Washington area on a computer. Price said he’s been in contact with former friends in Washington. He turned off his cellphone and its locator, and hasn’t shown up for school or his job at JP Construction.

“Police have searched the abandoned buildings around Washington so far, and they found nothing,” Price said.

Wiley has a scar on his forehead above his eyebrows and was wearing a pair of white and blue high-top sneakers, Price said. She said he often wears ball caps.

“We want him to know that we love him and miss him so much,” Price said. “He has little sisters that ask every day if we found him yet.”

Police have asked people to call 911 if they see Wiley or have any tips on his whereabouts.
