Resurrection Power to hold Breakfast Banquet event
A local addiction-recovery ministry will hold its yearly Breakfast Banquet on Saturday.
Nonprofit Resurrection Power’s benefit event will be held at Elks Lodge 158, located at 138 E. Maiden St. in Washington. It will take place from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The speaker will be Pastor Jerrel Gilliam, executive director of Light of Life Rescue Ministry in Pittsburgh. Gilliam was recognized by New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin for his work to assist victims after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city in 2006. The breakfast is free to attend.
