Waynesburg University hosting research symposium
WAYNESBURG – Waynesburg University will host its ninth annual Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Work Symposium at 6 p.m. Thursday on the third floor of the Stover Campus Center. The event is free, and the public is invited.
This year’s symposium will feature 27 poster-style presentations and six podium-style presentations, involving a total of 48 student presenters.
Opening remarks will be given by Dr. Terri Small, professor of nursing, at 6 p.m. Then, junior biochemistry major Kylie Cleer will serve as the emcee for the podium presentations. Poster presentations will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Students will present research projects in the arts, humanities, business, physical and biological sciences and other fields.
