AMWELL

Assault alleged: Jasmine Nicole Kelvington, 20, of South Main Street Ext., Washington, was charged with simple assault, criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a vehicle and harassment by state police. According to the criminal complaint, Kelvington struck a man in the face and neck, and then got into his vehicle and rammed into the passenger side of another vehicle about 8:30 p.m. Monday at Kelvington’s home. Police said she fled in the man’s vehicle. Kelvington has yet to be arraigned, and a preliminary hearing date has not been set.

MONESSEN

Man charged: Nicholas Deicas, 29, of 1217 Lookout Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Monessen police with burglary, trespassing and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse Deicas of kicking open a door to a relative’s residence about 2:20 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Rosecrest Avenue, and fleeing after a man went to investigate with a gun. Senior District Judge Herbert G. Mitchell Jr. signed a warrant for Deicas’ arrest.

Assault alleged: William A. Chipps, 35, of 401 McKee Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. Chipps is accused of pushing Jamie Parkinson and striking her in the head about 4:40 p.m. April 4 in his residence. He is free on $25,000 unsecured bail set by District Judge Mark Mansour.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Indecent exposure charge: Bobby Aurednik, 65, of Rainelle, W.Va., was arrested by state police for indecent exposure. According to police, Aurednik was found exposing himself in the main lobby of a hotel on North Franklin Drive by an employee.

NORTH STRABANE

Assault alleged: Erick Robert Baker, 34, of 156 Linwood Road, was charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment by township police. According to the criminal complaint, Baker choked a woman at his residence on Tuesday, causing red marks on her neck and throat. Baker has yet to be arraigned, and a preliminary hearing has not been scheduled.

ROSTRAVER

Drug charge: Anna Marie Kimberly, 35, of 415 Woodward Ave., Charleroi, is charged by the Westmoreland County sheriff’s office with possessing crack and drug paraphernalia about 8 p.m. April 4 at a fast food restaurant at 845 Rostraver Road, court records show. She is free on unsecured bond.

SMITH

Assault alleged: Chad Thomas Abbott, 24, of 13 Hubbard Road, Burgettstown, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct by township police. According to the criminal complaint, Abbott grabbed a woman by the arm and kicked her in the shin with steel-toed boots at 9:45 p.m. April 6 at Abbott’s home. Police said the woman had a large bruise on her right leg. Abbott denied kicking her when interviewed by police. Abbott was placed in Washington County Jail and arraigned Sunday morning before District Judge Jesse Pettit, who set bond at $5,000.

WASHINGTON

Burglary: City police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Blueprints field office at 365 Jefferson Ave. between April 5 and April 8. According to police, $74 in cash and $2,700 in Walmart gift cards were stolen from an office. Police currently have no suspects.
