Terroristic threat charge: Robert Lee Herring, 35, of 17 Mark Ave., Canton Township, was charged by state police with making terroristic threats. According to the criminal complaint, Herring made a post on the “Washington County PA What’s Going On!” Facebook page toward police on March 23. “Everyone needs to go get a GUN cause we have to protect our selfs and our family from the police I swear to god if I see a cop on my block I’m straight up shooting to kill,” the post read, in part. Herring’s Facebook account was deactivated on March 25. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 11 before District Judge David Mark.
