HANOVER
Endangerment charge: Nichole Shablyi Strohmeyer, 34, of 402 Fourth St., Langeloth, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and endangering the welfare of children by township police Monday. According to the criminal complaint, police went to assist Strohmeyer with her disabled vehicle on Creek Lane Road about 6:50 p.m. April 14. According to the complaint, Strohmeyer said she was returning from shopping in West Virginia with her two children and her transmission failed. The complaint states her speech was slurred and police could smell alcohol on her breath. She was taken into custody and submitted to a breath test at Smith Township Police Department. Police said her blood-alcohol content was 0.278 percent. A preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
WEST BETHLEHEM
Woman charged: Angel Marie Cursi, 19, of 62 Main St., West Bethlehem Township, is charged by state police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct stemming from allegations she scratched Marc Anthony Wilkerson during a fight outside her residence about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, court records show. Cursi is free on $5,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
WASHINGTON
Assault alleged: Autumn Paige Hertzog, 20, of Mill Street, Washington, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct by city police Tuesday. According to the criminal complaint, Hertzog assaulted Zhenice Hasan at the Shop ‘n Save on West Beau Street April 2. The complaint states that video surveillance shows Hertzog approaching Hasan in a threatening manner and flipping her shopping cart before attempting to strike her. Hertzog also allegedly spit on Hasan.
