CANONSBURG

Car theft: Benjamin Charles Jury, 35, of 147 N. Haft St., Houston, was charged by borough police Wednesday with felony theft and a misdemeanor for unauthorized use of a vehicle. According to the criminal complaint, Jury is an employee of Rump G’s Auto Works and took a customer’s vehicle without permission the evening of April 2. The complaint states he later caused a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 79 near Bridgeville. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 25 before District Judge David Mark.

MT. PLEASANT

Man jailed: David Lesneski, 60, of 301 Fifth St., McDonald, is charged by township police with making terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct, court records show. He is accused of threatening to assault and shoot Warren and Lynn Clark during a disagreement over the care of his mother about 8:10 p.m. Monday at a residence on Pleasant Road. Lesneski was placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
