CANTON

Pair charged in fight: Dominic Quarture, 30, of 3175 Jefferson Ave., and Kelli Shawn Jennings, 50, of 3048 Jefferson Ave., are each charged by state police with simple assault and harassment stemming from a fight in Quarture’s residence about 3 a.m. Sunday, court records show. They are free on $5,000 bonds set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

INDEPENDENCE

Man jailed: David Charles Wright, 49, of 11 Independence Road, Independence Township, is charged by state police with making terroristic threats, stalking, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Wright of repeatedly calling his ex-wife, Britt Wright, Saturday after being told by police to stop and later threatening to burn down his brother’s house while his family was inside the residence on Longview Drive. David Wright was placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

MONONGAHELA

Man jailed: Robert L. Cucchiorini, 49, of 220 Browka Ave., Donora, is charged by Monongahela police with burglary, trespassing, criminal mischief and public drunkenness, court records show. Police accuse him of breaking into a residence in the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue about 5 p.m. Thursday through a rear dog door, causing about $500 in damages. Cucchiorini was placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

NORTH CHARLEROI

Traffic stop leads to charges: Timothy John Davis, 47, of 1164 Country Club Road, Carroll Township, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with fleeing or eluding, flight, driving under the influence of alcohol and a string of traffic citations, court records show. Police accuse him of speeding away from a traffic stop about 1 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue before coming to a stop in a parking lot nearly three miles away. He is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

PETERS

Man jailed: Edwin George Leech, 42, of 324 Thomas Road, Peters Township, is charged by township police with strangulation and simple assault over allegations he choked his father, Edwin Howard Leech, with his forearm about 8:45 p.m. Saturday in the younger Leech’s residence, court records show. The suspect was placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bail set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

WEST BROWNSVILLE

Pair jailed: Richard Dunfee III, 35, of 21 Circle St., Morgan Township, and Danielle Lynn Forman, 33, of 248 Pine St., Jefferson Township, both of Greene County, are each charged by state police with receiving stolen property, conspiracy and felony retail theft, court records show. Police accuse them of stealing $1,235 worth of merchandise last week, including two televisions, from Walmart, 134 Daniel Kendall Drive. They were placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bonds set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

WASHINGTON

Man charged: Aaron R. Lechner, 20, of 121 W. Walnut St., Washington, is charged by Washington Health System police with simple assault over accusations he struck Jasmine Richards in his vehicle Sunday in a parking lot at 155 Wilson Road. Lechner is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Assault alleged: John Regis Markulike, 54, of 276 Terrace Ave., Washington, is charged by city police with strangulation, simple assault and making terroristic threats, court records show. He is accused of punching Carol Northcutt several times in the face, putting her in a headlock and threatening to shoot her in the head about 8:15 p.m. Sunday in his residence. Markulike is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Burglary charges: Brandon Michael Baker, 30, of 201 Summit Circle, Chartiers Township, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking by city police Friday. According to the criminal complaint, Baker stole $270 from Olive Oil Pizza at 315 Jefferson Ave., where he was an employee, about 3:45 a.m. March 19. The complaint states Baker used his employee key to gain entrance.
