Firefighters were called to Premiere Washington Health Center in Washington for an electrical fire that began in a room at the facility Wednesday afternoon.

The fire began while maintenance workers were replacing an electrical outlet above a sink in a second-floor room. A fireman said employees were able to put out the fire using a fire extinguisher.

Occupants on the second floor of the rehabilitation center were evacuated while firefighters cleared smoke and made sure the fire was extinguished.

No one was injured in the incident, which occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Firefighters from Washington and Chartiers Township responded to the scene.
