A motorcyclist from Carmichaels died following a two-vehicle accident in Richhill Township Saturday afternoon.

Dillon David Baker, 27, was injured in the crash at about 4:30 p.m., according to the Greene County coroner’s office. Coroner Gene Rush pronounced Baker dead at the scene about two hours later.

A report from Pennsylvania State Police in Waynesburg said the victim lost control of his motorcycle near 278 Day Road, and slid into the front end of another vehicle, the impact throwing Baker into a guardrail. Police said he was wearing a helmet and protective gear. They did not identify the other driver, whom they said was not injured.

The cause and manner of death are being investigated by the coroner’s office and PSP.
