CUMBERLAND
Theft charge: Michael Lynn Ellis Jr., 21, of 232 Green Valley Road, Carmichaels, was charged Wednesday with theft and failure to deliver title after Cumberland Township police said he bought a vehicle from a woman last March, but never paid her the $500 agreed upon in the sale. He still took custody of the vehicle and then sold it to another woman for $1,600, police said, but did not have the title so he could not legally transfer the vehicle.
JEFFERSON
Single-car crash: State police said Tiffani R. Ludrosky, 47, of Rices Landing, crashed into an embankment on Route 88 near Clarksville Road in Jefferson Township about 10 p.m. Wednesday before leaving the scene. Ludrosky was later located by police and declined medical treatment.
