False reports charge: Hailee Dawn Biwer, 22, of 62 Walnut St., Ellsworth, was charged with false reports to law enforcement after allegations that her ex-boyfriend assaulted her turned out to be false, state police said. Police responded Jan. 10 to the Washington County Center for Community Resources on West Beau Street, where Biwer had given a written statement that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her. Upon investigation, police said they determined that the ex-boyfriend had been at work in Wilkes-Barre during the time Biwer said the assault took place.
