Legislators’ staff to assist with rebate program applications
Staff from the office of state Rep. Pam Snyder, D-Jefferson, and Rep. Bud Cook, R-Daisytown, will be on hand to help eligible residents file for the state’s Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program.
The deadline to apply is June 30, but it is routinely extended until the end of the year. However, filing early means you’ll get your rebate sooner.
A representative from Snyder’s office will be present to help residents file on the following dates and locations:
- Wednesday – 10 a.m.-noon at Gateway Senior Housing, 330 Nazer St., Waynesburg.
- Thursday – 10 a.m.-noon at the West Greene Senior Center, 106 Grange Road, Graysville.
- Feb. 15 – 10 a.m.-noon at the Carmichaels Senior Center, 100 Nemacolin Road, Carmichaels.
- Feb. 19 – 10 a.m.-noon at the Brownsville Senior Center, 302 Shaffner Ave., Brownsville.
- Feb. 20 – 10 a.m.-noon at Bridge Street Commons, Waynesburg.
- Feb. 21 – 10 a.m.-noon at South Hill Terrace, Brownsville; 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Monongahela Township Community Senior Center, 110 Martins Ferry Road, Greensboro.
- Feb. 22 – 10 a.m.-noon at the Masontown Senior Center, 22 S. Main St., Masontown.
- Feb. 25 – 10 a.m.-noon at Snowden Terrace, Brownsville.
A representative from Cook’s office will offer help on the following days:
- Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon, Bentleyville Towers, 304 Washington St., Bentleyville.
- Feb. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon, Ellsworth Parkview Apartments, 19 S. Main St.
- Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon, Nathan Goff Apartments, 1 Middleland Avenue Extension, North Charleroi.
- March 7, from 9 a.m. to noon, Donora Senior Center, 701 Seventh Ave., Donora.
- March 21, from 9 a.m. to noon, Liberty Towers, 520 Liberty St., California.
