Washington woman charged in 2017 drug death of Canton Township woman
A Washington woman has been charged in the March 2017 drug-related death of a 30-year-old Canton Township woman.
On Tuesday, state police charged Tiffany Lorraine Sloneker, 33, of 265 Duncan Ave., Washington, with drug delivery resulting in death. She allegedly gave five stamp bags of heroin to Maria Lynne Frabell, 30, of Canton Township, on March 5, 2017. Frabell, a Trinity graduate and mother of two, died later that day of a drug overdose, according to the criminal complaint.
Police said a conversation they found in Frabell’s phone revealed that Sloneker had purchased 10 bags of heroin and gave five to Frabell, who lived in the apartment below Sloneker in the 100 block of Ellis Avenue.
The complaint said Frabell went back to her apartment to get ready for work, but she never made it there. Her employer called Frabell’s stepfather later that day because Frabell didn’t show up for work. Her stepfather found her dead in her apartment. A syringe, spoon, straw and white residue were found under her mattress, police said.
A toxicology report from the Washington County coroner’s office said Frabell died from an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl.
Sloneker, who is in jail on unrelated charges, is expected to be arraigned Thursday morning by District Judge David Mark.
