FRANKLIN

Two injured in crash: Two people were injured Sunday morning following a single-car crash on Jefferson Road in Franklin Township, state police said. Police said Michael M. Crow, 21, of Waynesburg, was driving east shortly before 6:30 a.m. when he crashed into a tree near Strope Road before the car came to rest in a creek. Crow suffered a minor injury, while his passenger, Nathanial N. Adams, 20, of Sycamore, was taken by ambulance to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., with unspecified injuries.

GREENE

Crash into utility pole: State police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in Greene Township. Police said Wilson A. Smith, 54, of Dilliner, was traveling on Garards Fort Road near Laurel Run Road when his SUV went off the roadway and into a yard before crashing into a utility pole. Smith was not injured.

JEFFERSON

Fiery crash: Three people escaped serious injuries Saturday morning following a fiery crash on Route 21 in Jefferson Township. State police said Joseph A. Gabeletto, 22, of Masontown, was driving east on the highway near Spotted Pony Road when he crashed into a westbound vehicle about 7:15 a.m. The occupants of the other vehicle, Marie E. Taylor, 54, of Waynesburg, and Christian M. Havens, 23, of Waynesburg, escaped uninjured before their vehicle caught fire, police said.

WHITELEY

Single-vehicle crash: No one was injured Monday night in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 in Whiteley Township. State police said Praveen L. Namburi, 38, of Sewickley, was driving south near the Garards Fort exit when he lost control of his SUV and crashed into the guardrail about 11:15 p.m. His passengers, Anuharika Chakka, 32, of Sewickley, and a 7-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl, were unhurt, police said.
