ALLENPORT
Woman wanted: Kayla Marie Demo, 22, of 1936 Main St., Allenport, is wanted by Roscoe, Elco, Stockdale and Allenport Regional police on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse her of failing to return a vehicle to her grandmother. District Judge Larry Hopkins signed a warrant last week for her arrest.
CALIFORNIA
Flight charge: Donald William Cole, 35, of 228 Third St., California, was charged by borough police with flight to avoid apprehension and two summary traffic violations following a traffic stop in September. Police said that when they tried to stop Cole on Sept. 27 at the intersection of Second and Wood streets, he parked the vehicle in a yard and ran off. Police located him later that night.
CECIL
Assault charge: Robert W. Betarie, 54, of 303 Elm Drive, Cecil Township, was charged by Cecil Township police with simple assault following a domestic disturbance at his residence Monday afternoon. Police said Betarie allegedly grabbed his boyfriend by the neck and threw him toward a door just after 3 p.m. Police said the alleged victim was evaluated by EMS but refused further treatment.
Second-story fall: A 23-year-old Cecil Township woman fell off a second-story balcony at her residence in the Overlook housing plan about 9:06 a.m. Tuesday. Township police said the woman had a suspected arm injury and was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital, as is the protocol for serious falls. Police said the woman was awake and alert. Police said she had been cleaning and was dumping water off her balcony when she fell. Township fire departments and Canonsburg EMS assisted at the scene.
CHARLEROI
Man jailed: Cody Nichols, 31, of 821 Crest Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with making terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Nichols of stomping and striking Randi Weaver with his hands and foot during an argument in their residence about 6:50 p.m. Monday. He is further accused of threatening to kill everyone in the residence. Nichols was placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Gary Havelka.
Man wanted: Bryan Devon Harris, 21, of 700 First St., Charleroi, is wanted by Charleroi Regional police on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Harris of slapping a 16-year-old girl in the face and slamming her head against a freezer about 1:10 p.m. Jan. 2 in his residence. District Judge Larry Hopkins signed a warrant Monday for Harris’ arrest.
Man wanted: Damon Allen Walters, 25, of 904 Martha Ave., Uniontown, is wanted by Charleroi Regional police on a charge of trespassing over allegations he entered 602 Shady Ave. through a basement window about 11:45 p.m. Dec. 31 after being warned twice by police to stay out of the house, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins signed a warrant last week for Walters’ arrest.
NORTH FRANKLIN
Drug charges: Antonia Shaquay Rizor, 26, of 220 Laurie Lane, Washington, was charged by state police with numerous drug-related offenses following a traffic stop early Saturday morning in the 1300 block of West Chestnut Street. Police said they noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle Rizor was driving. When police searched the Rizor’s purse, they said they found 34 grams of suspected cocaine, numerous plastic baggies, a digital scale, more than $700 in cash, one gram of suspected marijuana, a Suboxone strip, suspected marijuana cigarettes, rolling papers and pills. She was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, 12 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and two summary traffic violations.
SOUTH STRABANE
Gun stolen: A man reported to South Strabane police Saturday morning that his firearm was stolen overnight from his unlocked car, which was parked at the Hampton Inn on Murtland Avenue.
Theft: A woman in the 1200 block of Locust Avenue reported to South Strabane police Jan. 3 that her wallet and car keys were stolen overnight from her unlocked car. The car was there the next morning, but the wallet and keys were not.
Stolen trailer: A man reported to township police Saturday that his $3,000 utility trailer, which was parked at 16 Golf Center Drive, was stolen sometime since Christmas.
WASHINGTON
Criminal mischief: An employee of the GetGo gas station on Wylie Avenue reported to Washington police about 1 p.m. Monday that a man in a green SUV struck a diesel pump with his vehicle, damaging the pump. The man then drove away.
Criminal mischief: The Washington Area Senior Citizens Center reported to Washington police Monday morning that over the weekend, someone slashed a tire of their “Meals on Wheels” vehicle.
Criminal mischief: Several residents reported to Washington police that at least nine vehicles were damaged from Saturday night into Sunday morning. Police said the vehicles had been scratched with a sharp object. They were parked in the 200 block of Brookside Avenue, the 300 block of Hillside Avenue, the 300 and 400 blocks of Broad Street and the 400 block of Ewing Street.
Criminal mischief: Washington police were notified Saturday afternoon that a storefront window of Rusty’s Towing on North Main Street was shot out with a BB gun. Police said the replacement will cost between $500 and $1,000.
Theft: A woman in the 800 block of Ewing Street reported to city police Monday that a $500 toolbox was stolen from her garage within the last two weeks.
Stolen vehicle: A woman in the 600 block of Broad Street reported to Washington police last week that her car was stolen. Police said that just before 8 a.m. Friday, the woman left her keys in the car with it running and unlocked. She came back to get in the Enterprise rental car five minutes later and it was gone.
