Firefighters work to extinguish a blaze Thursday morning at a house at 79 Third Ave. in Atlasburg.

Multiple fire companies extinguished a blaze that broke out Thursday morning at a home at 79 Third Ave. in Atlasburg.
Slovan fire Chief Brandon Kriznik said the fire, which was reported about 10 a.m., began on the second floor of the house.
No one was inside when the fire began, and there were no injuries.
The cause is under investigation.
