West Finley man charged with sexually assaulting teen girl
A West Finley Township man is facing multiple charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old in August.
Jason Christopher Kusniez, 25, of 825 Majorsville Road, allegedly assaulted the child during a gender-reveal party at his home Aug. 5.
State police said in the criminal complaint that the man had supplied the girl with homemade wine and marijuana, before sexually assaulting her and trying to kiss her in the garage and on the front porch. Police said when the girl tried to go inside the house, Kusniez allegedly blocked the door and asked her to go to the basement instead.
Police said Kusniez allegedly asked the girl to lift up her shirt before carrying her to the basement, which was accessible from outside the residence. Police said the girl tried to go back upstairs to the inside of the residence, but Kusniez allegedly pulled her back down the steps by her shorts. Police said he then kissed her neck and tried to force his hands into her shorts.
Police said the girl was able to stop Kusniez and continue up the basement stairs to the residence, where she notified an adult about what allegedly happened. She was later taken to a hospital for evaluation, police said. Police said that in an interview, Kusniez “eventually admitted” assaulting the girl.
Kusniez was charged with three counts of corruption of minors, two counts of indecent assault and one count of unlawful contact with a minor. He was arraigned Tuesday morning by District Judge Ethan Ward and released on a $25,000 unsecured bond.
