Burglary: An empty gas can was stolen from a shed outside a home in the 200 block of Herrods Run Road in Springhill Township that was burglarized Dec. 31 or Jan. 1, state police said.

WASHINGTON

Single-car crash: A driver suffered a minor injury Wednesday afternoon when he crashed his pickup truck in Washington Township. State police said Joe D. Alaniz, 27, of Morgantown, W.Va., was driving south on Route 19 near Good Hill Road about 4:45 p.m. when his truck went off the road and struck a tree. Alaniz was treated at the scene while his passenger, Clayton L. Pearce, 26, of Keyser, W.Va., was uninjured, police said.

WAYNESBURG

Trespassing: Sarah Jane Kern, 38, of 118 Third St., Jefferson, was charged with trespassing and loitering after Waynesburg police said she entered a shed outside a home at 104 W. High St. in the borough and attempted to remove some of the items inside shortly after midnight Wednesday.
