Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Ricky Dale Litton, 37, 7 Fulton St., Marianna; sale/transfer of firearm to an ineligible person; charged Nov. 1, 2016; sentence – 23 months in the intermediate punishment program and 150 hours of community service.
Charles Vincent Hammonds, 70, 726 Large Ave., Apt. D, Clairton; four counts of theft by deception; charged July 26 and Aug. 20, 2017, and Feb. 8 and 19; sentence – four to 18 months in jail, restitution and no contact with Eat ‘n Park, Beau Mart, Family Dollar and 7-Eleven.
Kelsey Lynn Gray, 25, 747 N. Main St., Houston; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 21; sentence – 12 months of probation and no contact with Target.
Peter Delmer, 52, 139 W. College St., Canonsburg; simple assault; charged Feb. 10; sentence – two years of probation, restitution, 20 hours of community service and no contact with the victims.
Vincent Paul Kozlowski, 32, 1825 Morey Road, Fredericktown; possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility; charged April 15; sentence – 12 months of probation without verdict and $300 fine.
Matthew Jacob Keller, 22, 426 Main St., New Eagle; theft and criminal mischief; charged May 28; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.
Rachel Marie Russell, 36, 111 Route 837, Monongahela; two counts of possession of a controlled substance; charged Jan. 1; sentence – 24 months of probation.
Damarcus Bennett, 176 North Ave., Washington; robbery; charged May 22; sentence – 134 days to 23 months in jail, restitution and no contact with the victim.
Robert Lee Foster Jr., 36, 79 Murray Ave., Uniontown; disorderly conduct and driving with a suspended license; charged May 8; sentence – $500 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.
Alishia Marie McKnight, 29, 221 S. College St., Apt. 3, Washington; theft by deception; charged July 24; sentence – 12 months of probation and no contact with Target.
Christopher Todd Byron, 46, 916 Conrad Ave., North Charleroi; flight to avoid apprehension, operation of a vehicle in an unsafe manner and off-road lighting; charged Aug. 19; sentence – two years in the intermediate punishment program, 90 days on electronic home monitoring and $125 fine.
James Matthew Large Jr., 25, 1319 Corrin Ave., Monongahela; false report to law enforcement and criminal mischief; charged Aug. 5; sentence – 18 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Jim’s Bar.
Appearing before Judge John F. DiSalle:
Ashley Nicole Sadler, 26, 717 N. Main St., Houston; endangering the welfare of children and two counts of driving under the influence; charged Sept. 24 and Dec. 31, 2017; sentence – 8 ½ years in the intermediate punishment program, six months and 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $2,500 fine, 30-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.

Misty L. Shider, 40, 928 Pike Run Drive, Coal Center; possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 11, 2015; sentence – 24 months of probation.
Stephen B. Gency, 60, 9 Wood Alley, Monongahela; intimidation of a witness; charged Dec. 3, 2016; sentence – three to 23 months in jail and no contact with the victims.
Brittani Ann Cottrell, 31, 20 Interstate Drive, Claysville; possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; charged Jan. 12; sentence – six to 12 months in jail.
Vincent Freemont Catlin, 30, 340 Third St., Washington; retail theft; charged April 28; sentence – 24 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Rural King.
Nathan S. Brooks, 38, 2354 Ansley St., Alliance, Ohio; two counts of theft; charged April 4, 2016; sentence – nine to 23 months in jail, restitution and no contact with the victims.
Michael Jason Morgan, 39, 2032 Foxwood Drive, Elizabeth; defiant trespass and harassment; charged July 1; sentence – 12 months of probation, $300 fine and no contact with the victim.
Gavin Marcus Melan, 28, 1400 Main St., Apt. 166, Canonsburg; simple assault; charged July 8; sentence – two years in the intermediate punishment program, six months on electronic home monitoring and no contact with the victim.
