Fire damages mobile homes in Canton Township

Firefighters responded to a fire that damaged at least two mobile homes at Whispering Pines Family Campground in Canton Township shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.

Assisting Canton Township Volunteer Fire Department were firefighters from Fort Cherry/Mt. Pleasant and Chartiers Township fire departments.

No one was injured in the fire.

The campground is closed for the winter.
