BENTLEYVILLE
Man charged: Robert A. Glister, 47, of 103 Level St., Bentleyville, is charged by borough police with being a habitual offender and driving without a license stemming from a traffic stop about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 100 block of Wilson Road, court records show. Police filed the charges last week before District Judge Curtis Thompson.
MONESSEN
Assault alleged: Jerome Pryor, 32, of 1240 Highland Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he struck Jocelyn Tom several times in the mouth in his residence about 3 a.m. Sunday, court records show. He is free on $5,000 unsecured bond.
Drug arrest: Kayla Lynn Brinker, 25, of Murrysville, is charged by state police with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence and disorderly conduct, court records show. She is accused of having many gabapentin doses during a traffic stop Saturday on Donner Avenue. She is free on $10,000 bond.
NORTH STRABANE
Driver hurt: Barbara Hamilton, 63, of Canonsburg, was taken to Canonsburg Hospital with minor injuries after her car ran off Interstate 79 north at the Houston exit just before 2 a.m. Sunday and hit a guardrail and a sign, state police said.
SOUTH STRABANE
One hurt: Christopher Carruthers, 25, of Houston, suffered a minor injury when his pickup truck ran off Interstate 79 south at the north junction with Interstate 70, spun and struck the concrete barrier, state police said. He was treated at the scene.
SOMERSET
Woman faces charge: Angel Elliott, 28, of Eighty Four, will be charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly kicked a state trooper called to her home for a domestic dispute Saturday, state police said. She was placed in Washington County jail on a parole detainer.
WASHINGTON
Crash: A Washington woman reported to city police that she was involved in a hit-and-run crash Friday. Police said the woman was stopped at the intersection of West Hallam and Jefferson Avenue, with a passenger next to her and two young children in the back seat, when another driver rear-ended her vehicle. She told police that she saw the man throw his hands up in the air before he struck her vehicle again and drove around her.
