Two men were injured Friday afternoon, following a head-on crash on Route 40 in North Bethlehem Township, state police said.

William C. Sargent, 58, of Richeyville, was driving west in the 1700 block of East National Pike about 3:53 p.m., when his vehicle crossed the center line, striking a vehicle driven by Thomas J. Kraczon, 71, of McMurray.

Police said both men were transported from the scene to area hospitals for injuries of “unknown severity.”
