AMWELL

Burglary charges: Joseph Donald Garner, 34, of 181 Sassafras Drive, North Franklin Township, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, flight to avoid apprehension, stalking and loitering by state police Sunday. According to the criminal complaint, police were called to a home on Edgewood Drive just before midnight Saturday. Garner allegedly was on the roof, and had attempted to enter the home through a bedroom window. When police arrived, they say he jumped off the roof and ran into the woods. Garner was arrested at his residence. Garner was incarcerated in Washington County jail and denied bail due to concerns of him being a flight risk and for the safety of the alleged victim. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. June 17 before District Judge Traci McDonald.

BENTLEYVILLE

Assault alleged: Robert Joseph Cline, 29, whose last address was on Beallsville Road, Bentleyville, was charged with strangulation, endangering the welfare of children, simple assault and harassment by state police Sunday. According to the criminal complaint, Cline assaulted a woman Sunday at his former residence and was in violation of a PFA order by being at the home. He was incarcerated in Washington County jail and denied bail for the safety of the alleged victim and because he is accused of violating the PFA. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. June 12.

CARROLL

Shots fired: Wanittia K. Anderson, 58, of 125 Baird St., Carroll Township, is charged by Carroll police with reckless endangerment over allegations she fired four rounds from a firearm inside her residence about 5 p.m. May 26, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued the charge last week in a summons.

Assault alleged: Victoria Lee Zimmerman, 23, of 541 McCrea Ave., Donora, was charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief by township police Saturday. According to the criminal complaint, Zimmerman punched a man in the face after midnight on Saturday at a residence on Alexander Street. She was released from Washington County jail on a $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. June 19.
