NORTH BETHLEHEM
Terroristic threats charge: William Leroy Dinch, 18, of 796 Daniels Run Road, North Bethlehem, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and consumption of alcohol by a minor by state police Tuesday. According to the criminal complaint, Dinch pointed an Airsoft pistol at family members at his residence shortly after midnight Tuesday. He was incarcerated in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. June 12 before District Judge Curtis Thompson.
NORTH FRANKLIN
Assault alleged: William Edward Summers, 37, of 124 Altamont Ave., North Franklin, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct by state police Tuesday. According to the criminal complaint, state troopers went to Summers’ residence about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday to serve a protection-from-abuse order against him. Police said he attempted to grab a kitchen knife from a block of knives. Summers was incarcerated in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. June 17 before District Judge Robert Redlinger.
WEST BROWNSVILLE
Assault alleged: Charles William Hill, 44, of 702 Van Buren Ave., West Brownsville, was charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment by state police Monday. According to the criminal complaint, Hill choked a woman at his residence about 5:50 p.m. Monday. A preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
