CANTON
Assault alleged: Lawrence Gordon Patterson, 27, of 9 1/2 Iron St., Canonsburg, is charged by state police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he shoved Faith Ann Lohr and grabbed her by the neck about 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 10 Bel Air Drive, court records show. Patterson was placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
CHARLEROI
Suspect jailed: Tajha Hairston, 20, of 639 Conrad Ave., North Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with trespassing, criminal mischief, loitering and disorderly conduct, court records show. Hairston is accused of punching a hole in the front door of the 632 Lincoln Ave. residence of his former girlfriend, Billie Joe Ashbaugh, about 11 p.m. May 18. District Judge Larry Hopkins sent Hairston to Washington County Jail Friday on $25,000 bond.
NORTH STRABANE
Women jailed: Shanna Marie Kreglow, 38, and Crystal Lobeda Sorber, 44, both of Bellefontaine, Ohio, are each charged by township police with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after they were discovered in their vehicle that had been parked for more than an hour at the pumps at Canonsburg Sunoco, 2300 Route 519, about 8:45 p.m. Friday, court records show. Police said they found seven stamp bags of heroin and eight Xanax bars on the women, both of whom were placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bonds set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
ROSCOE
Assaults alleged: Brandi Lynn Shoup and Brian Alexander Kerns, both 26 and of 218 Bigler Road, Somerset Township, are charged by state police with simple assault and harassment, court records show. They are accused of striking each other several times about 7:15 a.m. Sunday alongside Route 88. District Judge Larry Hopkins sent the pair to Washington County Jail on $25,000 bonds.
SOUTH STRABANE
Man charged: Samuel Lea Redd, 38, of 144 Beagle Club Road, South Strabane Township, is charged by state police with fleeing and driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop attempt at Meyers and Booth roads about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, court records show. He is free on $35,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
UNION
Man jailed: Kypp Pettiford, 51, of 42 Stone Church Road, Union Township, is charged by Monongahela police with making terroristic threats and simple assault, court records show. Pettiford is accused of pointing a .22-caliber rifle through a window from his home at Raymond Ostrander during an argument about dirty dishes about 8:15 p.m. Sunday at Pettiford’s residence. A shot was fired from the weapon inside the residence, police said. Pettiford was placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
