CANONSBURG

Theft: Dylan Pareso, 24, of 183 Muse Bishop Road, Cecil Township, was charged by borough police Tuesday for a series of burglaries that took place between Sept. 17 and Sept. 27, 2018. According to the criminal complaints, Pareso stole $3,690 of outdoor equipment – including weed trimmers and a chainsaw – from storage crates and a shed at 311 Valley Road. Pareso faces felony charges of burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking. A preliminary hearing has not been scheduled.

SOUTH STRABANE

Man charged: Samuel Lea Redd, 38, of 144 Beagle Club Road, South Strabane Township, is charged by state police with fleeing and driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop attempt at Meyers and Booth roads about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, court records show. He is free on $35,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
