Washington County man indicted on firearm charges

A Canonsburg man faces indictment over an allegation he illegally possessed firearms and ammunition last year.
A federal grand jury handed down charges on June 11 against Jesse Price, 61.
The charges stem from assertions by federal prosecutors that Price possessed two rifles, a handgun and ammunition of various calibers Oct. 12.
The office of the U.S. attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania announced the three charges of violating firearms laws Tuesday, a day after he was arraigned before U.S. Magistrate Judge Maureen Kelly.
Price is barred from having guns because of felony convictions in 1988 and 2002.
He was freed on $20,000 unsecured bond.
Court records show Price has pleaded not guilty.
