Ellsworth bar shooting victim remains in critical condition
An Ellsworth bar shooting victim is still in critical condition, state police said Monday.
The 49-year-old man, whose identity was not made public by police, was shot in the head and neck area just before 9 p.m. Friday outside the Crazy Horse tavern at 28 S. Main St.
He was a patron at the bar before he was shot in the parking lot, police said. The man’s brother found him in the parking lot and took him to the Bentleyville Fire Department, where he was met by an ambulance. The victim was later flown to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh.
No charges have been filed or arrests made, but police are investigating the incident as an attempted homicide.
