One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital early Monday after a pickup truck crashed into a tree in North Strabane Township. Township firefighters responded to the Linden Road wreck at about 2 a.m. to find the pickup with heavy damage to the front end, the department said in a Facebook post. In addition, part of the tree had gone into the passenger compartment. A landing zone was set up at nearby Thomas Presbyterian Church. Additional details weren’t available Tuesday from township police.
