CANTON

Burglary charges: Three Washington men were placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 cash bond each following their March 8 arrests by state police in Canton Township. They were arraigned before District Judge David Mark on multiple charges and have preliminary hearings scheduled March 19 before District Judge Ethan Ward. According to court records: Devo’n James Adams, 18, is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use, disorderly conduct, carrying a loaded weapon and criminal mischief. Michael Dwayne Wallace III, 19, is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, carrying a loaded weapon and criminal mischief. Caleb Marquis McCartney, 23, is charged with burglary, possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

SMITH

Assault, other charges: Christopher Cornell, 20, of Avella faces 10 charges in connection with a March 2 incident in Smith Township. Filed March 7 by township police with District Judge Gary Havelka are two counts each of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, according to court records. Cornell is awaiting a preliminary hearing.

WASHINGTON

Multiple charges: Thomas Ronald Wright Jr., 50, of Washington faces nine charges following his March 7 arrest by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department. According to court records, charges filed March 8 with District Judge Robert Redlinger were fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, a felony, along with the misdemeanors of resisting arrest, flight to avoid apprehension, possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use, and traffic violations of driving an unregistered vehicle, driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, failure to drive at safe speed and reckless driving. Wright was place in Washington County jail on $25,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing, before District Judge Ethan Ward, is scheduled for March 20.
