Donegal man charged with possessing a large amount of marijuana
A Donegal Township man was arrested Tuesday after a search of his residence produced more than eight pounds of marijuana, police said.
Jason Thomas Kohn, 37, of 21 Fifth St., is free on $15,000 bond set by District Judge Traci McDonald following the 9 p.m. search led by state police, court records show.
Police said two children were in the residence during the raid, during which they found eight jars filled with marijuana, five firearms, $17,000 and drug paraphernalia.
The children were within arm’s reach of some of the marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.
The search warrant was signed by Washington County Judge Valarie Costanza. The search was carried out by the state police Special Emergency Response Team, Troop B Vice Unit and other troopers.
Kohn is charged with drug possession with intent to deliver, marijuana possession, child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
