There will be intermittent single lane restrictions on Bavington Road, between Spruce Lane and Route Steubenville Pike in Smith and Hanover townships, the state Department of Transportation said.

Crews will be clearing the area, removing trees, adding cross pipe drainage and doing utility work through April 2. Traffic will be maintained daily by short-term flagging. As traffic patterns change, traffic updates will be sent out.

This project is for the replacement of the structure carrying Bavington Road over Route 22 in Smith Township. The tentative completion on this project is September 2020. The contractor on this $6.31 million project is Gulisek Construction.
