Trinity hires police chief
Trinity Area School District has tapped one of its school police officers as its next police chief.
Sean Scott, a 25-year veteran of the state police who has worked for two years on the school police force, was hired at Thursday’s school board meeting.
“The board of directors and administration are thrilled that Chief Scott will continue his work to keep Trinity students and staff safe,” said Dr. Michael Lucas, district superintendent.
The three-year contract includes an annual salary of $45,000.
Scott succeeds outgoing school police chief Rich Horner, who retired.
