BLAINE
Assault charge: Jebediah Michael Kennedy, 25, was charged with simple assault and harassment on Tuesday. State police said in court papers that he was involved in an argument that turned physical at about 11:40 p.m. Monday at his residence on Reed Road in Blaine Township. According to the criminal complaint, Kennedy grabbed the woman by the throat and pushed her. Police said he also struck her in the left eye. Kennedy is being held in the Washington County jail following his arraignment before District Judge Ethan Ward, who set bond at $5,000.
CHARTIERS
Scam: A 24-year-old man reported to Chartiers Township police Monday that he was being blackmailed for $5,000 via Facebook Messenger and text. Police said the man had sent a total of $2,700 since the suspects began contacting him in late February, and that they advised him to stop all communication.
MONESSEN
Assault alleged: Samantha M. Carricato, 30, of Carnegie, was charged by Monessen police with simple assault and harassment over allegations she punched and kicked Melissa Clark before biting her on the right hand about 6:15 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Reed Avenue in the city, court records show.
Assault case: Koree Minnie, 21, of 606 Reed Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with reckless endangerment over allegations he used a knife to severely slice the right arm of Martha Miller during a disturbance about 7:50 p.m. March 21 in Valley Manor, 331 Third St., court records show.
Drug charge: Robert James Lenhart, 58, of State Road, Monessen, was charged Monday by city police with possessing 10 stamp bags of heroin stemming from a traffic stop about 7 p.m. July 24 in the 400 block of Tyrol Boulevard, court records show.
NORTH BELLE VERNON
Charged again: Pamela Sue Gamble, 44, of 614 Broad Ave., North Belle Vernon, is facing a string of new charges regarding the alleged harassment of her former boyfriend, Steven Cornelius, court records show. Borough police Monday charged Gamble with stalking, trespassing and 14 counts of harassment over allegations she continued to repeatedly call him at his place of employment Monday and Tuesday and also banged on the door to his residence on Grant Street after being told she is not welcome there. She faces 22 previous counts of harassment in the case.
ROSTRAVER
Man wanted: Michael E. Teets, 30, of Normalville, is charged by township police with carrying a firearm without a license, making terroristic threats and simple assault, court records show. Police accuse Teets of displaying a firearm during a child custody dispute about 3 p.m. Monday at a convenience store on Route 51.
WASHINGTON
Terroristic threats charge: Robert Paris Jr., 53, of 122 N. Main St., Washington, was charged by city police with terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to kill another tenant in his apartment building March 17. Police said Paris used a racial slur at the man before saying that he would “kick the door in and kill” him.
