Burglary charge: Nicholas Allen Shriver, 30, of 273 Ackley Creek Road, Graysville, was charged by state police with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and theft after police allegedly found him trying to steal items at a Consol Energy property early Saturday morning. Police said Shriver allegedly broke into a boarded-up building at 357 Tripp Hill Road about 2:30 a.m. When police found him inside, they say there were several tools around him, including bolt cutters, a pry bar and saw blades. Police said he also had four large pieces of copper pipe that he had cut from the wall. Police said he also had moved a large aluminum water heater, which Shriver allegedly admitted to attempting to steal.
