Drug arrest: Jermaine Antione Majors Sr., 41, of Monessen, is charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Armed with a search warrant, police allegedly seized from Majors 27.25 grams of crack, 3.5 grams of cocaine and $1,403 about 11:40 a.m. Friday outside his residence. District Judge Jason Buczak sent Majors to Westmoreland County jail on $50,000 bond.
NORTH BETHLEHEM
Crash: A man was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital by ambulance after his vehicle overturned on Route 40 near Scenery Hill Monday morning. According to Washington County 911, there were no witnesses to the accident and the man was out of the vehicle when emergency crews arrived. According to a 911 official, the man’s injuries were significant but not life-threatening.
ROSTRAVER
Drug charge: Deena Hixenbaugh, 34, of 2450 Brush Run Road, Hopewell Township, is charged by the Westmoreland County sheriff’s office with possessing one stamp bag of heroin stemming from a traffic stop about 8 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Rostraver Road, court records show. A warrant for her arrest was signed Friday.
