Warrant: State police picked up a Texas man on an out-of-state warrant. Police arrested Travis Mullins, 37, on Friday, following the report of a fugitive. He was arraigned by District Judge David Balint and jailed on $25,000 bond while he awaits his extradition hearing.

Crash: A 78-year-old Waynesburg man was not injured when his vehicle crashed into a guardrail, down an embankment and into a creek Friday morning. State police said Donald J. Throckmorton was in his car about 8:41 a.m. when he shifted the car into drive, not realizing the floor mat was stuck on the gas pedal. Police said he began accelerating downhill and could not control the car, as it crashed on Mt. Morris Road.

Disorderly conduct: Kevin Allen Temple, 51, of 312 Tollgate Run Road, was charged by state police with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police said he was walking around his apartment complex with a metal baseball bat, threatening to strike people with it early Monday morning. Police said when they arrived at the apartment complex about 12:22 a.m., Temple ran with the bat behind a building and into an apartment. Police said a blood test confirmed Temple was highly intoxicated.

JEFFERSON BOROUGH

Crash: Joseph E. Miller, 21, of Waynesburg, was cited by state police with four summary traffic violations following a May 9 crash on Greene Street. Police said that about 9:30 p.m., Miller made a wide turn at the intersection of Route 188 and Mulberry Alley, striking two parked vehicles. Police said he then left the crash scene, parked his car and fled on foot without leaving any information. Police said Miller wasn’t injured in the crash.
